As the titles implies I am currently building up some stock of unique pieces. There will be no reveal today, however I figured I'd share one of the latest commissions I did.
I have to say that I always love the challenge of commissions especially when I am given an idea to build on. I feel my bird skulls are quite well suited for a Gothic theme and working the cross in was a nice touch. I'm glad to say that my client was very happy with the end result. Which brings me to something I've noticed.

Finding things in Toronto and then never finding them again. Now I am fully aware this is a common thing with fabrics, given unique prints and a strong connection to the fashion industry. However I did not realize this would extend to lace and ribbons....well it does. So I'll be on the hunt again soon , which in some ways is a pain especially when you love what you had found. On the up side though it keeps you current and constantly evolving and changing an idea. This is a good thing.
No ruts for me! >;3
