Coffee, me, and other cool things! :D

What do a path a fat platypus and a four leaf clover have in common? O.o

Me! If you know anything about Turkish coffee this may mean slightly more to you. First you make said coffee, you then drink the delicious beverage, avoiding drinking grounds in the bottom, after which you flip your cup on to a saucer and wait.  This is when the cool part happens. Similar to tea leafs the grounds left in the bottom of the cup  are used to tell your fortune.  :D In this case it was mine, which brings me back to the question of a path a fat platypus and a four leaf clover. Apparently I may be in for a trip of some sort , this maybe harbored by some indecision and or a big decision that needs to be made and lastly luck is on my side. Now like most fortunes there a bit of wiggle room for interpretation and  with Turkish coffee there is also a "house" component, which in my case I have a lot of bills to pay....yey...

On another note I talked about personal projects  :D and I must say they are going great! to your side you will find a picture of the start of my wearable art creations. Which might I add are starten to look pretty sexy!

Other then that I was able to visit the CNE this weekend and find a few awesome finds mainly fossils and a shell of a stenopax magdalensis, which is part of the Chiton family one of these guys, below. There pretty damn cool and apparently all over the place and can get a lot bigger than the one I managed to pick up. I didn't even know they existed, seriously look em up!

The Ballz are a Rolling!

So lot of balls a rolling as of late. Getting ready to do some festivals , writing on the side, and getting out to do some socially fun stuff. Still adjusting  to the city have to say. There are so many people and yet so little interaction, beside trying to get passed them to get somewhere. However I've been getting more involved with the Art community including going to an amazing  magazine release party for Nest. Which can be found at  the Gutter Bird website HERE.  Supporting local artists is always is a bonus!

Other then that I worked Hamilton Festival of Friends with Jacqueline, who is the owner of Complete Art and Effects Web site HERE.  There we as well as some other very talented FX artists proceeded to give children, students, parents and even their babies black eyes. There were of course some other  very gruesome FX as well as helping out the amazing guys and gals of Nightmare on Elmore.

(Seriously these guys are great, Haunts like this one don't come around to often!  Be prepared to scream if you catch up to them! If your interested you can find there Website HERE The first picture at the top of the page is one of the Gals I made up for the Haunt.)
If you are curious of how we got some of these FX I can put together some info. :)

On the home front I mentioned getting ready to do some festivals , in which I hope to sell some of my own creations.  Sculpting, molding, casting, creating and ext. ext. has been all of my spare time, and by spare time I mean all of the time I am not making money.  Hopefully that will turn into me making money for my own art.  :D I'll be talking more about those projects next time.  Hope you Guys are doing awesome!  I'll be trying to update again more regularly.

Thanks for Reading!
